Kind and attentive staff made a significant difference during my stay at Carlton. Bright and spacious room provided ample space to relax after daily explorations. Helpful recommendations from the front desk staff guided me to local highlights. Breakfast choices were extensive and delicious, including fresh pastries and cooked-to-order items. However, the breakfast service could improve. I faced a lengthy wait for my omelette during a busy morning. Also, the elevator was small and could feel crowded at times. Parking was an area of confusion due to unclear reservations. Despite these issues, the hotel's proximity to the train station made it easy for day trips around Belgium.

Free Wi-Fi in rooms was great. Luggage storage helped us explore easily. Elevator was cramped.

The spacious Standard Triple Room provided an excellent retreat, highlighted by its comfortable bedding, which ensured a restful night. The breakfast experience included freshly prepared, tasty gluten-free options that satisfied dietary needs. Despite the lovely room, the parking situation was confusing and the elevator was cramped, making access challenging at times. Additionally, customer service, while generally attentive, occasionally fell short during busy hours.

The daily complimentary glass bottle of water was a nice touch.

I experienced poor lighting in the bathroom, making it difficult to properly groom myself. Additionally, during my stay, I found that the walls were thin, leading to disturbances from neighboring guests at inopportune times. Unfortunately, parking was frustrating. the hotel garage is quite small and hard to reserve, which adds to the stress of navigating the busy streets outside.

I had a fabulous stay. The deluxe double room on the 6th floor had a comfy bed and a nice balcony. The staff was super friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast had amazing options, including fresh pastries and homemade marmalade. Getting to downtown was easy with the tram.

Door locking issues need immediate attention!!! The shower space is uncomfortably cramped for anyone above average size. With thin walls, expect to hear everything and enjoy your neighbors’ late-night chats or early-morning disturbances!!!

The room was huge with a comfy bed and had a nice view from the balcony. It included a mini-bar, tea/coffee maker, and a walk-in shower which was lovely. The lift made getting to the upper floors easy. Great area for local eats and close to tram for city access. Excellent stay overall.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the train station, making travel to the old town easy. The owners were incredibly welcoming, even took the time to explain the city tram system and where to find the best local spots. Our room was large and quiet with a nice kettle for tea and coffee which was perfect after a long day out.
